Child Care at Court
We offer free, drop-in child care at courthouses in San Bernardino, Orange, Santa Clara, and Riverside Counties for parents handling legal matters.
How We Support Families
Open whenever the Courts are open, our spaces provide a child friendly retreat exclusively for families attending court so families can focus on court matters knowing their children are safe and supported. Guided by our philosophy, we create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered while their caregivers navigate essential legal responsibilities.

- Engaging child-led activities focused on individual needs and interests
Who Can Attend
Each County designates age specifications for those who can attend our Children’s Waiting Rooms.
Orange County: Children ages 2.5 – 16*
Riverside County: Children ages 3 – 17
San Bernadino County: Children ages 2.5 – 15
Santa Clara County: Children ages 2 – 12, Care limited to 4 hours per day/12 hours per week
All children must be able to use the bathroom independently to attend.
*Our Community Court CWR welcomes newborns – 17 year old children.
